I’m back! I survived two weeks without the Internet. I admit the first few days were rough — I kept instinctively trying to check my email on my iTouch or log on Facebook, but by the end of our trip I was sitting in the Venice airport relieved that the WiFi wasn’t free. I wasn’t quite ready to jump back into work emails and friend requests. Even now it feels weird. That’s the problem with vacations — you don’t always fully appreciate them until they’re over. Can I go back now?
I’m still trying to decide how I want to write about our trip and hopefully won’t take as long as I did last year. I’ve got 500 photos to sort through and some work assignments in the pipeline, so hang tight. Until then, here are some teaser photos (click to make them larger):
(Brownie points if you can guess where each photo was taken… or you can just hover over each one and the name will magically appear. If you couldn’t tell I really like my camera’s panoramic mode.)
