I’m a 20-something-year-old freelance writer and editor who splits her time between Florence, Kentucky and London, England, with occasional other world travels (especially when panda holding is involved).
I have an unhealthy obsession with pandas, pugs, corgis and my Fitbit. I have tried (and failed) to learn Chinese at least 5 times.
I enjoy grocery shopping, running, queuing for theatre day seats and complaining about the weather, all of which you’ll hear about on this blog.

Hello Renee,
I’m a wordpress food blogger and new follower of your fabulous site! I’d contact you via e-mail if I knew how…I’m a teacher independently writing a small book about Chinese New Year. Your “Dancing Dragons” photo happens to be just what I’m looking for to put in my book. Would you be willing to allow me to use the photo? Thanks for your consideration! Keep up the great site. –Eve (at perfectcirclekitchen and perlmaneve@gmail.com)
I know it was posted a while ago but your entry about not getting into the Alan Davies show came up in a google search. As a frequent tv audience goer I would point out that it is possible to get into tv shows first time round with standard admission tickets in most cases- you just have to queue first. How long depends on the company issuing the tickets. SRO and you usually only need to be there about 10-15 mins early as they don’t over offer by too much. Applause store over offer by a lot more so you need to be there over an hour early and sometimes as much as 4-6.
That’s really good to know, thanks for the tip! I’ll have to give an SRO show another go soon.
Hello-I am hoping to use one of your images on a personal blog. Would love to give credit or compensation. Please get in touch so we could work something out-I was able to download but realized I should follow better internet etiquette–it was exactly what I was looking for though! Thanks!
